The BSIO is the premier multidisciplinary professional organisation in the UK for integrative oncology. Membership is open to academic institutions, small businesses, corporations, and individuals who have the common goals of excellent comprehensive patient care, enhancement of anti-cancer therapy, supportive care and prevention of cancer.
The BSIO facilitates communication, education, and research by bringing together practitioners from multiple disciplines focused on the care of cancer patients and survivors. We are credible through recommending the best available evidence for the management of patients with cancer. Through joining the BSIO you become part of a unique multidisciplinary community of oncologists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, pharmacists, and the many allied health professionals and complementary health care practitioners involved in the support and care of people affected by cancer.
A Members Only section is being developed, which will link to useful resources for integrative oncology.
Members will benefit from discounted rates for BSIO events, and where possible events organised by collaborating organisations. We have a relationship with the Society for Integrative Oncology in the USA.
How to join the BSIO
We have changed our membership structure to one of a network with no charge, and we invite anyone with an interest in the subject to join.
All network members will have a strong voice in the future shape of the BSIO. They will be the people who are eligible to stand, to nominate and to vote for the formal officers of the BSIO. To join, please download and complete the registration form below.
