Dr Lucy Davidson

 

Counselling Psychologist, Director of Psycho-onocology at Perci Healthcare

Dr Lucy Davidson is a counselling psychologist with experience spanning over a decade in the oncology, haematology and palliative care field. 

Having initially worked in bereavement services, eventually managing the Royal Trinity Hospice bereavement service, Lucy moved into the NHS and spent time at The Royal Marsden offering psychological support to patients and their families. She completed her doctoral thesis at Roehampton University, exploring psychologists’ experiences of working with bereaved clients. 

Lucy moved into the private healthcare sector in 2016 working for HCA Healthcare, offering both inpatient and outpatient support to oncology and haematology patients across several Central London hospitals. Alongside she developed her own independent practice and started to offer consultancy and training to healthcare professionals. Most recently she has worked with Pancreatic Cancer UK offering psychological training and consultancy, Swallows (head and neck cancer charity) and The Minster Centre, delivering workshops to trainee therapists on death and bereavement. 

Lucy is currently director of psycho-onocology at Perci Healthcare, a digital platform transforming the way that supportive care is delivered to those living with cancer. She is committed to the psychological education and support of healthcare professionals in the oncology field as well as diversifying and developing the way that support is offered to cancer patients.
